NCHS: Eco-Art: Creative Adventures in Nature

Join us outdoors for Eco-Art, a playful and inspiring art workshop for children aged 7–12, set within Whitworth Park. Led by outdoor educator Lesley Martin, these sessions invite young people to slow down, look closely and reconnect with the natural world around them.

Eco-Art encourages curiosity, care and creativity. Children will discover how art can help us notice nature, understand our impact on the planet and imagine positive futures for people and wildlife alike. No previous art experience is needed, just a sense of wonder and a willingness to get a little messy!

All activities take place outdoors and are designed to be inclusive, accessible and fun. Please bring weather appropriate clothing and something to drink. All art materials are provided. Families and carers are encouraged to relax nearby while children create, explore and connect with nature. Capacity is limited so unfortunately no drop-ins. Thank you kindly for your cooperation.
