Nature School: Squirrels

Join us for a fun-filled adventure as we discover the busy world of squirrels! This time of year, these clever creatures are hard at work gathering and storing acorns for the winter ahead. Through hands-on activities and outdoor exploration, children will learn all about squirrel behavior, habitats, and the amazing ways they prepare for the changing seasons.

WHO: Children 7 -10 yrs old + guardian

WHEN: November 15th, 2025 @ 2 PM

WHERE: Austintown Township Park - Paul Pogany Pavilion. Once you enter the park, take the road to the left. See map.

DETAILS: Nature Preschool is an exciting way for older kids to learn about the natural world around them. Our programs cover different topics every month and may include stories, crafts, outdoor activities, and free play. We use local parks as our classroom and will be outside 100% of the time. Please ensure that your child is appropriately dressed for the weather and prepared to get a little dirty. We believe getting kids outside in all kinds of weather throughout the year is crucial. In the event of severe weather, we will contact you to cancel the program.
