The Soul of Songwriting, led by Nashville artist/songwriter Alison Brazil, is a one-time creative workshop designed for senior adults to reflect on their life stories and turn them into a powerful, singable chorus built on truth, emotion, and strong rhythmic and melodic hooks. Drawing inspiration from the heart of soul music and the storytelling power of Motown, this 2-hour experience invites participants to connect with their own voices and each other through the timeless art of songwriting.
No prior songwriting or musical experience is needed. All you need is a willingness to share, reflect, and create something meaningful together.
