Mosaic Decorations at Lakeside Arts Centre

In this workshop we will turn mosaic tiles, broken crockery and lots of other up-cycled pieces into your mosaic works of art.

You will be able to choose from a large choice of base shapes to work on and learn the best adhesives to use of each one.

At the end of the workshop, you’ll be given a bag of grout to take home to finish your pieces at a later date – a demo will be done to show you what to do.

• Tea/coffee will be available.

Course conditions:

The workshop needs minimum numbers to run. In the unlikely event it doesn't meet this the workshop will be cancelled. Your booking is secured by payment and if you choose to cancel you get a refund up to 7 days before the event however after that no refund can be given.

Travel
To reach the Lakeside Creative Arts Centre, Newmillerdam in Wakefield, West Yorkshire:

Bus from Wakefield Westgate Station:

• Take Bus 59 or 59A towards Barnsley.
• Disembark at Newmillerdam (Stop N1).
• Duration: Around 20–25 minutes.

Bus from Sandal and Agrigg Station:

• Take Bus 59 towards Wakefield.
• Disembark at Newmillerdam (Fox and Hounds Public House).
• Duration: Approximately 14 minutes.

By car:

• From Leeds: Approximately a 30-minute drive via the M1 motorway.
• From Sheffield: Around a 45-minute drive via the M1 motorway.

The Arts Centre is located at 693 Barnsley Road, Newmillerdam, WF2 6QQ, within the scenic Newmillerdam Country Park.
Car parking facilities are available at Newmillerdam Country Park and cost £1 for 2 hours, £2 for 4 hours and ​£4 for a full day.

By taxi:

By foot:
