Melissa McCarthy is the author of Photo, Phyto, Proto,
Nitro (Sagging Meniscus, 2023) and Sharks, Death, Surfers: An
Illustrated Companion (Sternberg, 2019). She lives in Edinburgh.
Rufo Quintavalle is an actor and a poet. He was born in
London in 1978, studied at Oxford and the University of
Iowa and lives in Paris. He is the author of numerous books
of poetry, including Shelf (Sagging Meniscus, 2021) described
by Daniel Levin Becker as “a consummate work of potential

Julian Stannard is the author of The University of Bliss
(Sagging Meniscus, 2025), New and Selected Poems (Salt, 2025),
nine collections of poetry, and several monographs. He is
a Reader in English and Creative Writing at the University
of Winchester (UK). He has received the International
Troubadour Prize for Poetry and in 2024 he was awarded the
Lerici Anglo-Liguria Prize for his contribution to Italian letters.
Philip Terry is a poet, translator, and a writer of fiction. He
edited The Penguin Book of Oulipo (Penguin Modern Classics,
2020). His poetry includes Dante’s Purgatorio (Carcanet, 2024).
With the author, he translated Ian Monk’s 14x14 (Sagging
Meniscus, 2024).
