Join Friends Board members Ken Copenhaver and Tom Hargy for an evening walk to watch and listen for some of our resident birds who operate during the night shift. The moon will be nearly full, which will make for an enjoyable walk. We will listen for owls and any other nighttime wildlife as we walk the Stephen Young Marsh Trail.
The MNWR owl prowl is on Saturday evening, February 28, from 6:30 PM until about 9 PM. We will meet at the Stephen Young Marsh parking lot on Tabor Rd, about 1 mile south of the Refuge Visitor Center. Dress appropriately and bring a low-intensity flashlight.
