Get ready to move, connect, and express yourself through queer salsa and bachata!
Sanura Dance β the FLINTA, feminist & LGBTQ+ dance community β brings their signature inclusive workshops to The Castleβs stunning upper floor.
Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the workshop kicks off at 6:45 PM sharp.
Everyone learns both to lead and follow, because empowerment is at the heart of what we do. Whether you come solo, with friends, or as a couple β expect laughter, rhythm, and a shared sense of freedom. After the workshop, stay for a relaxed social dance where you can practise, play, and enjoy the music.
From 7:00 PM, the LBTQWomen host will be downstairs ready to welcome you for a chill evening of chats, laughs, and new connections. The back space of the pub is all yours if youβre in a chatty mood (and yes, drinks are on the menu πΈ).
LBTQWomen is a platform amplifying the femme side of the LGBTQ+ community, creating spaces for connection and belonging.
β¨ βIf you think your home is with us, YOUR home is with us.β
A queer-friendly gem in East London, The Castle is an independent pub known for its welcoming staff, good food, and brilliant two-floor layout. The upstairs event room, with its high ceilings, dance-friendly floors, and natural light, feels like a mini ballroom β intimate yet vibrant. Downstairs, the buzzing bar and back room set the perfect scene for conversation and connection.
Just a few minutes from Aldgate East Station, itβs easy to reach and hard to leave.
Sanura Dance β A queer, FLINTA-focused dance school offering inclusive salsa and bachata workshops where everyone leads and follows. Founded in 2023, Sanura celebrates empowerment, connection, and community through movement.
LBTQWomen β An international platform connecting queer women and non-binary people through events, storytelling, and digital spaces. Together, we create safe, beautiful moments that celebrate visibility, joy, and love.
Of course, weβre inclusive β have you seen the T in LBTQWomen and FLINTA? π
We love our trans siblings, always have, always will.
This event is for Queer Women & FLINTA (trans inclusive).
Come as you are β no partner or experience needed. Just bring yourself, a smile, and maybe your dancing shoes π
