The French American Academy's Mommy & Me Class: Music and Movement in French and English is a warm, bilingual experience for babies and toddlers ages 0 to 3. The class is open to moms, dads, and caregivers.

In this 45-minute session, families enjoy live music while little ones explore rhythm, melody, and movement through guided activities. Parents sing along in French and English, share simple joyful movement, and connect with their children in a supportive, social setting.

Each class includes sensory play, colorful props, storytelling, bubbles, and gentle vocal practice that encourages early language skills. Children build confidence, strengthen motor development, and grow their relationship with music while meeting new friends. Led by composer and educator Lyndol Descant, who brings over 25 years of early childhood music experience, this class offers both a nurturing routine and meaningful developmental benefits.

During each class, you will:

• Sing along in French and English
• Enjoy children’s songs and familiar music in jazz, rock, and blues
• Bond with your child through simple, joyful movement
• Experience live music played throughout the session
