Get ready to dive into a world of creativity and fun at Mind Games - where art meets play in unexpected ways!

You have never seen an installation like this before.

Mind Games is a video game–inspired art show that flips the idea of an exhibit on its head. This is not just art on walls. It is interactive, playable, and built to pull you into the experience.

The custom art installation is designed and built by Anthony Bartley, also known as FadingRoyalty, transforming the space into a world where creativity and play collide. Check out a sneak peek of the videos and images below to get a taste of what’s coming.

This curated pop-up explores the nature of play through art, games, and immersive programming across a two-day experience. Expect open tables for classic games, screens running popular video games, and interactive moments throughout the space.

Alongside artwork from Chicago-based artists Anthony Bartley and EWRKS, you can jump into pickup games of UNO, Spades, and Monopoly, chase high scores on custom programmed arcade cabinets, or grab a controller and finally settle who is actually the best at Smash in your friend group.

Whether you come for the art, the games, or the nostalgia, Mind Games invites you to tap back into curiosity, competition, and joy.

Come be a kid again for a little while.

About the Artist:Anthony Bartley is a Chicago-based multidisciplinary artist whose work centers healing, honesty, and community. After surviving a life-altering concussion in high school, he turned to art as a form of therapy. Drawing inspiration from cartoons and anime, his vibrant, nostalgic work explores mental health, emotional growth, and personal storytelling while creating space for connection, reflection, and collective healing.
