Middle school can be one of the most challenging transitions for kids. At this age, children are experiencing rapid changes in friendships, identity, emotions, and independence. They may struggle to find safe ways to express themselves or to cope with new pressures at school and home.
The Middle School Process Group at The Center is designed to provide a safe and structured environment where children (ages 11-13) can explore who they are, practice new skills, and build supportive peer connections. Guided by a licensed mental health professional, this group gives children the chance to process emotions in healthy ways while having fun and learning practical tools for resilience.
