Novelist and memoirist Michèle Roberts’s French Cooking for One was a huge hit with the reading, cooking and eating public when it was published just before Christmas last year. In its sequel French Cooking for Two: Seasons of Friendship (Les Fugitives) Roberts presents seasonal dishes calculated to foster and enhance friendships, combined as ever with enlightening anecdotes and reminiscences of memorable meals. She will be in companionable conversation with Alice Blackhurst, writer in residence at the American University in Paris.
