Under the umbrella of Claudia Caolín Dance & Entertainment, we are creating a truly memorable evening for you: cultural, stylish, and beautiful. And the best part: you can take an active part in it by dancing away in your partner’s arms until way into the night! (Singles don’t be daunted, there will be plenty of other singles and we will encourage changing partners.)

We are the singer Claudia Therése, her dancing partner Gregor Candlin, and two of the best pianists of all of Cornwall: Rico Gerber and Anthony Trodd.

The evening will be divided into three sections:

6:30 – 7:15pm: Opera concert

Followed by a Tapas/snacks buffet (by Genki Café - delicious vegan options available)

7:45 – 8:45pm: Jazz concert

9 – 9:45pm: Modern Jive dance class

9:45pm – 11:30pm: Free style dance

The beginning of the evening is for Opera lovers and will take place in the great hall of Scorrier House, where Claudia Therése offers a variety of the most beautiful and powerful arias from beloved classical composers, which span from Bizet and Verdi to the Gershwin brothers. She is sensitively accompanied by the fantastic pianist Rico Gerber, with whom she can show the full range of her passionate voice whilst interpreting the material with all the drama it deserves.

After this, drinks can be purchased at the bar and varied snacks and delicious tapas will be offered as refreshments (included in the prize of the evening ticket).

The program will move on to the Jazz concert, where guests can enjoy mesmerising Jazz tunes, masterfully delivered by Claudia Therése and Anthony Trodd in the most stylish environment and candlelight.

Then, it will be time for a fun and short dance lesson in Modern Jive with Claudia and Gregor (ca. 45 min long) to warm up, go over the basics, and maybe discover a particularly interesting dance combination. The session will be aimed at beginners and improvers alike.

Following this, guests can enjoy a free style dance evening (to a sensitively assorted musical playlist) until well into the night, with a well-stocked bar available at the wonderful premises of Scorrier House. The beautiful conservatory and gardens will be open for the guests as well to take a stroll under the shine of the stars.
