Merrist Wood Farm Open Mornings.

Come and meet all our wonderful farm animals – piglets, goat kids, sheep and lambs, Darcey the donkey, cheerful chickens, happy ducks and, of course, a turkey! We are a Rare Breed Survival Trust accredited farm, and we would love for you to come and say hello! If you love a morning walk with your children or family, this is a great opportunity to come along and say hello to the alpacas, llamas and rheas.

You will be able to get up close and pet the animals, animal feed will be available at an extra charge. This is a great opportunity to take lots of pictures of your time on the farm.

The Farm is open between 10am-12pm You can arrive anytime during this period. Allowed up to 1 hour for your visit.

PLEASE BE AWARE

If you are, or suspect you are pregnant, you must not enter the lambing unit due to potential zoonoses diseases. Avoid handling clothing which has come into contact with ewes or lambs. Please ensure everyone in your group washes their hands thoroughly after handling the animals. Please DO NOT attend this event if you are pregnant.

All visitors are required to wear appropriate footwear whilst visiting the farm, this means closed toed shoes, trainers, wellies, or similar. No open toed sandals, flipflops or crocs are allowed on the farm.
