Material Liberation presents: A Fashion Show Fundraiser

Fashion has always played a role in global resistance! Whether it’s a t-shirt, a keffiyah, a hat, slogan pins, or a flag, we consistently wear our struggles! Join us, Material Liberation, on Friday, January 16th at 7pm as we carry on this legacy at "A Fashion Show for Global Resistance," as we demand an end to imperialism, an end to genocide, and ICE Out of everywhere through agitation, performance, and fashion design!

​We invite you join us for a fashion show featuring 14 designers, performances featuring music and poetry, and a raffle all held at Gladys Books and Wine at 306 Malcolm X Blvd in Bed-stuy, Brooklyn.

​All proceeds will support various organizations engaged in anti-imperialist and ICE Out initiatives, including the ICE Out of NYC Coalition and POC Healing Circle.

​Tickets for entry are $10 suggested donation, while tickets for the raffle are $5 each suggested donation.

​Our raffle prizes include:

• ​A massage with a POC Healing Circle trained practitioner
• ​A book bundle by 1804 Books​
• ​A tote by Shaina Yang
• A painting by Yeka Garzón
• ​A hat by Plum

​No one will be turned away for lack of funds, and we are excited to join together to experience beauty and advance the causes we believe in.
