Westminster Music Library, with El Trio, presents a masterclass for young musicians aged 11-19.

“This masterclass intends to introduce the Jazz tradition to young and aspiring musicians or anyone curious about this subject. It will include a concert, musical demonstrations, Q & A, and the opportunity to interact and play with the band. Bring your horns, strings, voice and sticks!”

The masterclass will consist of 4 distinct parts:

1. The introduction concert. The band will perform around 3 songs, all in distinct musical approaches.

2. After the concert we will open for questions from the audience about anything they might have felt curious about the performance; this will be intercalated with musical demonstrations by the band.

3. In the third section, young musicians who are happy to come on stage will be accompanied and coached by the band on a few songs, and musical devices.

4. Final questions, farewell, and closing performance by the band.
