Master the art of Modern Calligraphy

Discover the joy of hand-written, Calligraphy lettering, in the beautiful Altrincham Town Hall.

In this session, you'll master using a Japanese brush pen - which is very similar to a fine paintbrush to create the thick and thin lines and typical of Calligraphy lettering.

What You'll Do:

• Learn brush lettering techniques and strokes
• Practice individual letter forms and the Calligraphy alphabet
• Develop your own unique lettering style
• Create your own wall art to take home (optional)

Why Brush Lettering?

Unlike traditional calligraphy, brush lettering uses brush pens instead of nibs and ink, making it incredibly accessible for beginners. No messy ink pots or complicated dip pens to master – just pick up your pen and start creating!
