Mary Thorson, author of A WOMAN'S GUIDE TO TRUE CRIME

Boswell welcomes Milwaukee author Mary Thorson for an event celebrating the release of her debut story collection, A Woman’s Guide to True Crime. Thorson's stories have been included in both the 2024 and 2025 editions of Best American Mystery & Suspense.

Mary Thorson earned a BA in Creative Writing from UWM and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Pacific University in Oregon. In addition to an author, she is a High School English Composition teacher in downtown Milwaukee.
