Just Keep Thinking is launching an exciting new holiday workshop series β βIβm A ___ Explorer!β β where curious young minds dive deep into fascinating themes through hands-on activities, games and creative challenges.
In βIβm an Earth Explorer!β, young explorers will uncover the powerful forces that shape our planet. What causes volcanoes to erupt? Why does the ground shake during an earthquake π? Through engaging demonstrations and interactive simulations, participants will discover the science behind these natural phenomena.
But thatβs not all β explorers will also put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test π§ ! Can you design something strong enough to withstand a simulated disaster? Using simple design strategies, participants will learn how engineers protect buildings and objects from volcanic hazards and ground shaking.
To continue the adventure at home, each child will bring home a printed educational booklet on geology and the Earth, a mini DIY Volcano kit π, and a pet rock they have designed themselves!
Itβs a high-energy, hands-on adventure packed with discovery, critical thinking and fun π!
