Maldon District Arts & Culture Gathering - Culture and Heritage Strategy

A gathering event for anyone working or volunteering in the arts and cultural sectors in the Maldon District. Held at the excellent Datum Attitude Brewery & Taproom in Heybridge. Hosted by Cultural Engine CIC who are working on a Culture & Heritage Strategy for District, this is a chance to get updated on progress and to feed in thoughts and issues.

Format will be - A short presentation on the strategy, introductions to local art groups, a presentation on creative health, and network/discussion and food!

This covers arts and culture in a comprehensive sense - art, dance, performance, drama, literature and spoken word for example. Join others from across the District and let us know what you think the challenges and opportunities are for cultural development. It will be an opportunity for networking and to hear what Cultural Engine CIC and others have to say about the work on the strategy so far. This will include insights on events, creative health, collaboration, space, environment/nature recovery, changes to local government and funding. It will all be relevant!
