Make a coiled clay pot /vessel (afternoon)

In this 3 hour session, I will give step by step guidance of clay coiling techniques for you to create your own unique bowl or pot.

Suited for thoise with and without experience of working with clay.

All materials and tools will be provided and the Kiln-firing & glaze/finish materials are included in the fee, all you need is to wear clothes you don't mind getting messy (bring an apron, I have some spares if you forget)

At the end of the workshop your pot will be :

• Taken back to my studio to be dried ( +/- 4/5 days)
• Fired in a kiln 'bisque' firing (24 hours)
• Glaze finish applied by me (you will have options to choose from)
• Fired again for the 24 hour 'glaze' firing.

Overall the process takes approx 2 -3 weeks.

Your creation will be available for collection later at my studio on set days to be arranged with you . (If you need your item to be posted, this will be at a small extra cost)

Parking: there are both short and long term car parks in Shaldon, the venue is in the centre of the village within easy walking distance of both car parks.

Toilets are on site

Cancellations/refunds: Should there be cancellations meaning the workshop is no longer viable to run, or the whole event cancelled for any other reason, you will be offered the next available date/time or a full refund

• If you can no longer attend and let me know at least fourteen days before the event, you will be refunded the ticket price, minus the eventbrite admin fees (approx 10% of the ticket price) .
• Any refunds after the fourteen day cut off will be refunded only if I manage to fill the space
