Biographies:

Leo is currently a first-year undergraduate at the Royal College of Music, studying Piano with Andrew Zolinsky. He is generously supported by The Victor Dahdaleh Foundation Scholarship and Talent Unlimited.

Previously, Leo studied at the Junior Royal Academy of Music for four years, where he achieved numerous successes in various competitions, including winning the prestigious Iris Dyer Piano Prize twice, as well as placing first in the overall Year 13 Prize. His teacher at Junior Academy, Eva Doroszkowska, sparked his keen interest in 20th and 21st-century music. Leo is now recognised as a passionate advocate for contemporary music, performing works by composers such as Shchedrin, Górecki, and Auerbach.

In addition to being a pianist, Leo is also an avid composer. He thrived while studying composition at Junior Academy with Matthew Taylor, and is particularly proud of the premiere of his orchestral composition Symphonic Fantasia, performed by the NMPAT orchestra in 2023. Leo is currently pursuing a second study in composition at the Royal College of Music with Dr. Alison Kay and is now working on his first full symphony.
