Living the Wheel of the Year, A Sacred Sisterhood Circle in Walnut Creek
If you feel the quiet pull of the seasons and the longing to gather in community, you are in the right place.
This year-long ceremonial circle is for women of all orientations 21+, cultures, religions, and experience levels to gather in person in rhythm with the eight Celtic Holidays of 2026.
Dates are chosen in harmony with both the seasonal thresholds and the practical rhythms of life, honoring the living Wheel rather than rigid calendar days.
We will Gather on:
Imbolc — Sunday, February 1
A gentle awakening of light, intention, and the first stirrings of new life.
Ostara (Spring Equinox) — Sunday, March 22
A celebration of balance, renewal, and the return of fertility to the land.
Beltane — Sunday, May 3
A joyful fire festival of passion, creativity, and life force energy.
Litha (Summer Solstice) — Sunday, June 14
A radiant honoring of the sun at its peak and the fullness of light.
Lammas / Lughnasadh — Sunday, August 2
A gratitude-filled harvest of what you have grown and what now ripens to fruition.
Mabon (Autumn Equinox) — Sunday, September 27
A sacred pause of balance, reflection, and giving thanks as light and dark equalize.
Samhain — Sunday, November 1
A deep ancestral gateway for remembrance, release, and communion with the unseen.
Yule (Winter Solstice) — Sunday, December 20
A quiet rebirth of the sun and a return to inner light, hope, and renewal.
Note: If the circle feels called, an optional private women’s retreat in the sacred lands of Mount Shasta may unfold during the summer months. This experience would be offered separately and shaped by the desires of the group. More will be shared as the year unfolds.

Each gathering offers a grounded, heart-centered space to build authentic community within a consistent sacred container.

No prior knowledge of Celtic spirituality is required—only an open heart.
Each 2.5-hour in-person gathering runs 2:00–4:30 PM.
Each gathering follows a consistent ceremonial arc:
• Arrival & welcome
• Seasonal overview
• Calling in the directions
• Seasonal teaching & ritual
• Creative practice or altar craft (materials provided for in person guests)
• Guided breathwork, meditation, or sound journey
• Sharing circle
• Closing blessing
Private residence in Walnut Creek.
Address and arrival instructions will be shared upon registration. Indoor or outdoor space may vary depending on season and weather.
$50 per gathering. Single-event ticket.
As part of my sacred service, I may offer seasonal recorded sound bath meditations, grounding practices, and/or guided breathwork journeys — woven with reflective journaling prompts to support embodiment, integration, and soul remembering. These offerings are included as part of the circle and carry no additional fee.
Laurie Light is a Holistic Wellness Practitioner and Priestess of Avalon serving the communities of Mount Shasta and Walnut Creek. Devoted to the remembrance of ancient feminine wisdom and the restoration of soul memory across time and space, Laurie holds ceremony at her Mount Shasta sanctuary, The Cosmic Room, and her private Walnut Creek temple space, House of Light & Sound.
Laurie’s work weaves nature, sound, breath, meditation, energy healing, and past-life remembrance into grounded, heart-centered ceremonies where women gather to release old stories and return to clarity, compassion, and inner balance.
