Live Beyond Average: Tire-Flipping Fundraiser for Masonic Homes of CA

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Live Beyond Average is a charitable strength challenge hosted by Long Beach Lodge #327 to raise $50,000 for the Masonic Homes of California, in honor of Most Worshipful Garrett Chan, Grand Master of Masons in California.

On Friday, February 28, Brethren, families, and guests are invited to gather in fellowship and support a bold physical challenge undertaken for a worthy cause.

EVENT SCHEDULE

• 1:00 PM – Fellowship and light refreshments inside the lodge
• Shortly after – Move to the parking lot for the main event

THE CHALLENGE

Brother Romel “Dave” Romero, Grand Standard Bearer, will attempt to flip a 300-pound tire 60 times in 60 minutes, demonstrating endurance, discipline, and service in support of Masonic charity.

HOW THE FUNDRAISER WORKS

Support for this fundraiser is made through donation-based ticket levels on Eventbrite.
These tickets do not provide admission and serve as charitable donation receipts for tax purposes.

Donation Levels

• Bronze — $50 (Individual Donation)
• Silver — $150 (Couple Donation)
• Gold — $500 (Family Donation)
• Platinum — $1,000 (Lodge or Group Donation)

Supporters may choose the level that best fits their ability to give.
All supporters are warmly invited to attend and cheer on Brother Dave during the challenge.

All funds raised will be donated to the Masonic Homes of California.

PRESENTATION OF DONATION

Following the event, a ceremonial presentation of the donation will be made by representatives of Long Beach Lodge #327 alongside Grand Lodge officers, honoring the collective efforts of all who contributed.
