Who are we

We are a book club that centres reading books by black and brown authors from all genres. We meet on the last (mostly!) Wednesday of every month at The Black Kitchen in Streatham Common.

What happens each month?

Each meeting starts with a book related question to get the chit chat warmed up. We then take turns to discuss the book, its themes and our thoughts whilst enjoying delicious food and drinks!

We move onto choosing the book for the following month either chosen by the host or members get to pitch their choices chosen by a vote. If your book is chosen you have to come the following month to face the reviews!
