Join us for an afternoon of adventure on the big screen — all for free! Lightbulb movies is a series of films for adults that are inspired by inventors, inventions and our Lightbulb moments exhibition.
Films start at 2pm.
Please note, the film schedule may be subject to change or cancellation at short notice. If you have booked via Eventbrite you will be notified via email or telephone if the event changes. Alternatively, please contact the VG&M on the day of the event to check whether the film is going ahead.
The events are free but booking is recommended and you can book tickets via Eventbrite.
Depending on the location of the film, there may be some availability for walk-ins but this cannot be guaranteed on the day. If the event is full, please join the waitlist. If you are on the waiting list, you will be notified whether there is space available the day before the event.
Seating/bean bags will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis with limited capacity.
The films are either in the Leggate Lecture Theatre on the second floor or in the Learning Suite on the ground floor of the VG&M.
Food and drink is not permitted in the Leggate Theatre but we do allow water. Lunch and snacks may be consumed on the ground floor in the Waterhouse Cafe.
