Light Up a Life Celebration Event

Thursday 4th December 2025 | Doors open 6.00pm, event starts at 7pm

Light up a Life is a Christmas remembrance service, hosted by St Oswald's Hospice Spiritual Care Lead, Davina Radford. The event will take place at Event Northumbria at Northumbria University, Newcastle City Centre.

Everyone is welcome to join in, whether or not you have a connection to St Oswald's Hospice. There will be a mix of music, refection and readings and the service will culminate in the switching on of the Christmas tree lights, each one sparkling in memory of someone special.

Light up a Life is an inclusive event, suitable for the whole family. Everyone is welcome, whether or not you have a connection to St Oswald’s Hospice. Tea and coffee will be served.

PLEASE NOTE:

Tickets must be booked in advance due to limited capacity. Adult tickets are priced at £5 plus booking fees (retained by Eventbrite). Under 18’s go free.

Please only book the number of tickets you need for you and your guests so as many people as possible can attend.

The venue is on the first floor but a lift is available
