Leicester Music Conference
The Leicester Music Conference 2026 opens with a keynote from Myn Jazeel, Co-Chair of the MOBO Trust and Chair of Music Against Racism, setting the tone for a day of discussion and insight. The programme features panel sessions exploring creativity, production, wellbeing and career development, including In the Mix: The Craft of Music Production with Zdot, Simon Lyon, Chris Cook and Francesca Smith; Music Minds Matter with speakers from Music Minds Matter, BAPAM, the ISM and Tonic; South Asian Futures in Music hosted by Sania Haq; and Indie Labels in the Modern Age with Yasin El Ashrafi.
Alongside the panels, the conference hosts a major new Industry Expo at The Venue, De Montfort University. Free to attend, the Expo brings together music technology innovators, creative industry partners and professional support organisations, offering hands-on demos, workshops and practical guidance for anyone building a career in music.
