TOUCH J.A.M. Carnival 2026 – a 2.5 days celebration of family, fun, and community spirit!

Leather Craft Workshop

Get ready to craft with purpose at our hands-on Leather Crafting Workshop! This inspiring session is led by skilled coaches and co-facilitated by the clients of TOUCH Centre for Independent Living — persons with disabilities (PwDs) who will guide you step by step through the leather-making process.

Together, we’ll create not just beautiful leather pieces, but meaningful opportunities for inclusion, empowerment, and connection with likeminded individuals and persons with special needs. Learn how to saddle stitch and make a handcrafted piece that’s uniquely yours. No prior experience needed, make a difference with every stitch!

What to Expect

  • Introduction to leather crafting and the art of saddle stitching
  • Guided learning experience by coaches and PwD
  • Hands-on practice on a sample leather piece
  • Finishing techniques including thread trimming and sealing
  • Crafting your own leather product to take home
  • Opportunity to interact with PwDs

Why Attend?

  • Learn the art of saddle stitching
  • Enjoy a meaningful and hands-on creative experience
  • Support inclusion and empowerment of PwDs
