
The art of French beaded wire flower making is an intricate craft with a history spanning several centuries,believed to have originated in 16th-century Europe, specifically in Italy or France. The French method uses only the technique of stringing in the creation of beaded flowers, stringing beads onto wire before starting, then the flowers are made by using the end of the wire and feeding the beads into the flower and twisting.
You will be making a five petal flower using basic techniques. All materials provided, but please bring wire cutters if you have. The workshop is only for the White House members.
