Pick up a pencil and spend a relaxing evening drawing in the heart of Westminster Abbey. Perhaps you’ll choose to focus on the detail of an effigy’s folded robes, the shadow of a candlestick or the geometry of the Cosmati pavement.
Open to all abilities, including beginners. If you are looking for some direction, artist Wilson Yau will be on hand to provide guidance with a series of optional activities. Drawing will be permitted in the Crossing, the Quire and both the North and South transepts.
For conservation reasons, you will only be permitted to use pencil and graphite whilst inside the Abbey. Any materials brought on site will be checked upon arrival to ensure that they are suitable for the space.
