Krewe de Canailles 2026: Roadside Attractions

This Mardi Gras, we’re pulling off to the side of the road and driving head-on into the weird, wild world of ROADSIDE ATTRACTIONS! From fonky old couches and gas-station boudin to UFO landing sites, quirky churches, and the World’s Largest Whatever, Krewe de Canailles is celebrating all the things you stumble upon when you weren’t even looking. If it makes you laugh, scratch your head, or slam on the brakes—bring it to the parade and cruise with us through Downtown Lafayette! This year’s not just a parade—it’s a love letter to every detour, roadside gem, and glorious pile of junk that makes backroad adventures so unforgettable.

PRICING LEVELS:

• Early Bird Special (8/24 - 8/31): $50 – You’re a genius. A visionary. A planner.
• Perfectly Reasonable (9/1- 12/7): $60 – Calm, collected, and parade-ready.
• Holiday Panic (12/8 - 1/23): $75 – You meant to do it earlier. It’s fine.
• Total Chaos (1/24–1/31): $999.99 – You blacked out and woke up in a costume. You’re in. We love it. But your wallet won't.

MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES:

• A spot to walk in the KDC 2026 parade!
• Free entry and food at the after-party!
• Year-long access to events and activities throughout the year!

MEMBERSHIP RULES:

• Must be 21+ to participate
• You do not need a krewe to march — solo/independent marchers are always welcome!
• Sub-krewes must be made up of a minimum of eight (8) costumed members.
• Sub-krewes can have a maximum of 40 members.

  All registration fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to other members. If you are unable to attend the parade, your registration fee will be considered a donation to Krewe de Canailles.

If you love Krewe de Canailles but don't think crafting and marching are for you, consider becoming a sustaining (non-marching) member by purchasing a Krewe de View ticket for $30. You'll be invited to KDC membership meetings and creative workshops...we will keep you in the loop on all things Canailles. Your support will go directly to the operating costs of the parade you look forward to each year.
