Join us as young people of colour explore the theme of JOY through performances, artworks, expressions and more!

We are welcoming you back for another year of 'Kids of Colour on Joy!'.

Across the evening, you will watch and hear from young people of colour who will explore this theme in their own way, through performances and expressions.

This year will also include a panel between Mancunian author Danielle Jawando and Ade Adedeji (one of The Manchester 10). Danielle's books explore growing up in Manchester, and themes of racism, love, friendship and injustice. Her book 'If My Words Had Wings' drew on The Manchester 10 case, alongside others, and brought joy and validation to those living the stories she has so beautifully told. Together, they will explore the joys of being creative.

6-830pm: Explorations (including breaks and refreshments)

830-9pm: Food (including vegan, vegetarian and halal options)
