Enjoy the best seats in the house for Beethoven's 9th Symphony and Brahms Violin Concerto, all with great soloists, in Worcester Cathedral

Worcestershire Symphony Orchestra invites experienced singers to join them in May 2026 for a performance on Saturday 9th (appropriately!) of one of the great masterpieces of music for orchestra and chorus - Beethoven's Ninth Symphony in Worcester Cathedral.

Rehearsal details are in planning, but most likely to be as follows:

A full chorus rehearsal under WSO conductor Keith Slade on Sunday May 3rd at 2pm at St Martin's Church, London Road Worcester WR5 2ED

On Thursday May 7th at 7.30 there will be a one-hour rehearsal at St Martin's Church, London Road Worcester for chorus with full orchestra.

On May 9th the chorus will join the orchestra and soloists in the Cathedral at 3.30pm for a one-hour rehearsal ready for the performance at 7.30. We will issue emailable vocal parts for private practice on receipt of ticket applications and printed hired parts at the first rehearsal to be returned after the concert.
