Jocelyn Szczepaniak-Gillece is author of Movies Under the Influence and The Optical Vacuum, and her writing has appeared in The Cinephile, Film Quarterly, and The Routledge Companion to American Film History. A graduate of Notre Dame, Szczepaniak-Gillece holds and MA and PhD in Screen Cultures from Northwestern University.
