JJOA, Rochester Chapter HBCU Event: Celebrating the Legacy

Join the Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Rochester Chapter for an exciting celebration of HBCU culture, history, and excellence. This event will highlight the rich legacy and impact of Historically Black Colleges and Universities while providing meaningful engagement and fellowship for our youth and families.

Wear: Chapter HBCU hoodie or your favorite HBCU paraphernalia
Bring: Book donations for the Boys and Girls Club

Enjoy a tailgate-style experience featuring walking tacos and hot chocolate while participating in engaging activities including a panel discussion with HBCU graduate community leaders, HBCU pendant making, HBCU Jeopardy, Battle of the Bands viewing, and D9 stepping.

Curriculum Requirement:
Participants are asked to watch Teen Talk May 2023: From High School to College individually. Completed questions should be submitted to the Program Director. A watch party option will also be available for children to view together in person or online via Zoom on February 21 at 3:00 PM.
