JEWS DO JILL: A Tribute to Jill Sobule by Jewish Musicians

The popular JEWS DO JEWS concert series returns to Swallow Hill Music in 2026 with a tribute to the late, great Jill Sobule, a brilliant, eclectic singer/songwriter whose off-Broadway musical “F*CK 7TH GRADE” was inspired by her memories of growing up in Denver in the 1960s and ’70s. Jill was our surprise guest at a “Jews Do Jews” concert several years ago, and her finely wrought songs, with lyrics and tunes that run the gamut from hilarious to heartbreaking, are a perfect match for our “Jews Do Jews” vibe. This year’s lineup: Hal Aqua, Rabbi Jamie Arnold, Laura Berman, Rabbi Joe Black, Steve Brodsky, Ev Evnen, Eve Ilsen, Eitan Kantor, Greg Schochet, Carla Sciaky, David Ross, and Harry Tuft, with Ben Cohen, Adam Loudermilk, and Miriam Rosenblum.
