Jean Holden Closes the 2025-2026 Season at Lucille's

Join us for the final show of the 2025-2026 season at Lucille’s Jazz Lounge, presenting a very special performance by Jean Holden—one of Toledo’s most treasured vocalists.

With a voice that is smooth, sultry, crystal clear, and undeniably commanding, Jean Holden brings decades of artistry to the stage. A celebrated performer and educator, Jean is a three-time Lake Erie West People’s Choice Award winner for Best Female Vocalist, a YWCA Milestones Recipient for her contributions to the arts and mentorship of young artists, and a member of both the Sylvania Distinguished Artist Hall of Fame and the Lifetime Achievement Category.

Jean’s journey began in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she was formally trained as an operatic mezzo-soprano. In 1964, recognizing the need to evolve within a changing musical landscape, she adapted her range for nightclub performance—and quickly proved her versatility. Her debut at Toledo’s Park Lane Hotel turned into a two-year residency, launching a five-decade career that only continues to flourish.
