Two-day conference for K-12 administrators and leaders with Jo Boaler and Cathy Williams, focused on leading mindset and mathematics change

The Youcubed Leadership Summit, led by Dr. Jo Boaler and Cathy Williams, is an immersive two-day event dedicated to transforming mathematics education. Designed for education leaders, the summit explores critical shifts needed in math education systems and classrooms and guides participants in developing actionable, research based plans tailored to their own regions.

Throughout the event, leading educators from across the U.S. will share successful initiatives, offering both inspiration and practical insights. Attendees will have the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded professionals, exchange ideas, and access a robust collection of resources and research evidence aimed at improving math achievement.

The first evening will feature a welcome reception to foster meaningful connections among participants. With its interactive format, the summit is an unmissable event, helping leaders face real-world challenges with innovative strategies for lasting mathematics improvement

E ach day, the conference begins at 8:30 am and ends at 3:30 pm. A continental breakfast is provided each morning starting at 8:00 am and lunch is included each day. The optional reception with drinks and nibbles will follow immediately after the frist day, January 22nd, from 3:30 until 5 pm. At the end of the conference, participants will receive a certificate verifying 10 Professional Development Hours (1 CEU).

  • We no longer accept payment by purchase order/check, registration is only available by credit card.

Please note that, except for free parking that we offer to attendees, transportation and lodging are not included in the workshop fee and all travel arrangements are the responsibility of the participant and/or their school or district. Listed below are resources for planning travel to the Stanford campus:

  • The nearest airports to Stanford University are San Jose (SJC) and San Francisco (SFO)
  • The closest lodging is in Palo Alto and the surrounding communities
  • Stanford has a free campus shuttle system called Marguerite has a stop near three local hotels (Sheraton Palo Alto, Westin Palo Alto and The Clement)
