Inverness Motorcycle Road Safety Roadshow

We finish the 2026 Road Safety Roadshow week in Inverness, bringing together experts and the motorcycling community to focus on safer riding, better road awareness and essential post-collision knowledge.

The programme features:

• How motorcycle injury claims progress.
• Safe helmet-removal demo for first-on-scene scenarios.
• Analysis of Scotland’s motorcycle casualty data.
• Post-accident aftermath, criminal investigations and COPFS reporting.
• SMIDSY and the Science of being seen (Saccadic Masking) explained.
• Advanced riding skills and training pathways with IAM, RoSPA and others.
• A mechanic’s guide to ensuring your bike is safe for the road.

Speakers include Ewen Stewart, Ali Johnson, Mick Pumfrey, Stevie Davie and Eric Hill. Local partners and motorcycle organisations will also support the event.
