Introduction to Stage Combat - Youth Arts and Culture Festival

Suitable for ages 11-15yrs.

A fast, physical and fun workshop offering a practical introduction to the art of stage combat from the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre. Practice a range of basic stage combat techniques and learn how to portray stage fighting effectively with correct actions and reactions.

Working with a professional fight director and stunt coordinator you will explore the principles of stage combat including angles, staging and misdirection and learn how to work safely as a team with your opponent.

Please wear clothing/ shoes that you can move easily in and bring a bottle of water.
