Join Rebecca as she supports you to explore the principles of mindful photography.
What else will we do?
We will use simple video capture and photography on mobile phones.
We will introduce an exciting storytelling project.
We will listen to the sounds around us and consider how well we do actually listen
Who is this course for? This course is designed for individuals living in North Yorkshire who are currently unemployed or feel they could benefit from upskilling in areas such as maths, literacy, or IT.
What you'll need to participate: -
- A camera or smartphone with plenty of battery life and storage space (please bring your charger).
- A small lunch (no nuts) — light snacks and warm drinks will be provided from the Cafe.
- A willingness to complete a short reflective photography exercise after the session.
What you'll gain: - A deeper understanding of yourself through guided exploration.
- A connection to your immediate environment.
- Increased confidence in working within a small group.
- Improved skills in IT and navigating the internet.
- Support from an experienced and qualified coach in therapeutic photography, along with a small group of peers.
- Strategies to manage stress, build confidence, and enhance visual awareness.
