International Women's Day - Anatomy Health & Wellness Fair
Join us at the University of Lancashire in Preston on Saturday March 7th, 2026 to celebrate International Women's Day with a Women's Anatomy and Health Fair in the Harrington Building!
This event is designed for individuals aged 16+ who want to better understand female bodies, feel confident in their health knowledge, and develop the tools to have supportive conversations with young girls in their lives.
Drop-in throughout the day and you will be able to explore a range of interactive stalls to learn how the female body works and discover practical ways to support your own wellbeing. Our stalls will include information on female anatomy and physiology, as well as evidence-based women's health resources. We will also be offering mini health checks performed by our dedicated wellness team in a welcoming and supportive environment.
This event will also host a few interactive workshops to give you the hands-on opportunity to learn about female anatomy using both physical and virtual models within the University's anatomy lab. We will also host sessions focused on nutrition and women's health to provide practical advice you can apply in everyday life.
While the event is primarily aimed at adults, children are welcome to attend alongside a parent or guardian, and colouring activities will be available during workshops to keep little ones engaged.
Registration is required. Guests must book a free ticket in advance and select their preferred workshop sessions at the time of registration on Eventbrite. Free parking will be available on campus for attendees.
