1. Course Overview
Targeting children aged 7 to 12 with at least 2 years of dance experience, this intensive programme strengthens flexibility, control and coordination. Participants will learn and master basic to advanced Chinese dance techniques.
Outstanding students will be invited to join the Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre (SCDT) Performance Troupe (Children or Junior Group).
2. Course Objectives
Basic Abilities: Strengthen flexibility (shoulders, waist, hips), core and body control.
Technique Mastery: Develop proficiency in floor, standing and jumping techniques, progressing from basic to advanced.
3. Course Content
Day 1 – Basic Ability Training:
Flexibility and core exercises, foundational techniques (e.g. forward rolls, shoulder rolls, chest and shoulder-elbow stands)
Day 2 – Basic Technique Development:
Jumping and tumbling techniques (e.g. cartwheels and front/back walk)
Day 3 – Skill Reinforcement:
Reinforcement of techniques learnt
Day 4 – Performance Integration:
Reinforcement of techniques learnt and final showcase
4. Teaching Methods
Breakdown Exercise: Complex movements are broken down into manageable parts for progressive learning.
Individualised Instruction: Training is tailored to students’ development stages and abilities.
5. Safety and Assessment
Safety Measures: Classes are conducted on professional flooring with protective mats and full instructor supervision.
Parent Engagement: Class video summaries will be shared to guide home practice and progress review.
6. Instructor Profiles
Han Lei
A graduate of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), majoring in Chinese Dance and focusing on Chinese dance pedagogy. Over the last 4 years, she received multiple HKAPA Entrance and Outstanding Scholarships and performed in numerous school productions.
Currently a Dance Artiste with the Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre.
Lin Chuchu
A graduate of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) dance faculty. Since 2023, Chuchu has been with Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre as a ONE artiste and has been actively coaching children aged 12 and below in schools and in-house training programmes.

一、课程定位
面向拥有最少2年舞蹈基础的7-12岁儿童,通过系统训练提升身体柔韧性、力量与协调能力,掌握基础到进阶的华族舞蹈技术技巧。
优秀学员将有机会加入新加坡华族舞蹈剧场表演团(儿童团或少年团)。
二、课程目标
基础能力:提升柔韧性(肩、腰、胯)、核心力量及肢体控制力
技巧掌握:掌握地面、站立、跳跃类基础技巧,逐步进阶复合动作
三、课程内容安排
第一半天:基础能力训练
柔韧性训练、核心与控制力、基础技巧(如前滚翻、过肩翻、胸倒立、肩肘倒立等)
第二半天:基础技巧学习
跳跃技巧(如小跳、中跳、大跳等)、翻身技巧(如侧手翻、前软翻、后软翻等)
第三半天:强化技能、技巧组合
反复练习、强化技能
第四半天:技巧组合与表现力
反复练习、强化技能、技巧组合展示
四、教学方法
分解练习:复杂动作拆分为小步骤,逐步增加难度
分层教学:根据学员能力安排不同阶段的开发与训练
五、安全与评估
安全措施:铺设专业地胶,训练全程配备保护垫,教师全程监护
家校反馈:新内容会发送上课组合视频,指导家长辅助课后练习
六、教师资历
韩磊,毕业于香港演艺学院(HKAPA)舞蹈系,主修中国舞,专修中国舞教学。在校期间,年年获得香港演艺学院入学及杰出奖学金,也主演多部制作。
毕业后,加入新加坡华族舞蹈剧场担任舞蹈演员。
林楚楚,毕业于新加坡南洋艺术学院(NAFA)舞蹈系。从2023年开始,她担任新加坡华族舞蹈剧场的外展及教育导师,主要负责在学校及内部培训课程中对儿童进行培训。
