Institute Class

The Institute of Religion, often referred to as ‘institute,’ is a program sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that offers religious education to young adults, typically between the ages of 18 and 35. It provides a space for young adults to deepen their understanding of the gospel, strengthen their testimonies, and connect with others who share their faith. 

The program primarily serves young single adults, but married college students are also welcome to participate. 

Institute classes cover a range of topics, including the scriptures (Old Testament, New Testament, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, Pearl of Great Price), Church history, doctrine, and other relevant subjects. During the summer, workshops are often held to provide specific instruction on various topics.

The program aims to help young adults develop a strong foundation in gospel principles, prepare for future roles in the Church and family, and navigate the challenges of young adulthood.
