‘Inspire Me’ - Levi Roots

Join us for an inspiring and entertaining talk with Levi Roots, as he shares the remarkable story of how he transformed a dream into a global success.

From his early days in a small Jamaican village, learning the secrets of Caribbean flavours from his grandmother, to building a celebrated food empire, Levi’s journey is one of passion, persistence, and creativity.

Hear firsthand how he navigated every twist and turn—running a humble stall at Notting Hill Carnival, facing rejection from banks and investors, and ultimately winning the backing of Dragons’ Peter Jones and Richard Farleigh. Discover how Reggae Reggae Sauce made its way onto supermarket shelves, and how Levi went on to become an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Agricultural University (RAU) for his outstanding contributions to entrepreneurship and food and much more.

About the speaker:

Levi Roots, born Keith Valentine Graham, is a Jamaican-British entrepreneur, musician, chef, author, and TV personality, best known for creating the famous Reggae Reggae Sauce. Growing up in Jamaica and later moving to Brixton, London, Levi learned the secrets of Caribbean cooking from his grandmother and began experimenting in his own kitchen. His big break came on Dragons’ Den, turning his homemade sauce into a thriving global brand.

Levi is passionate about inspiring others and gives back through The Prince’s Trust and RIFT Social Enterprise, visiting schools and communities to share his story of resilience, creativity, and chasing your dreams. Beyond food, he remains a talented musician and engaging media personality. His upbeat mantra, “Put some music in your food!”, captures his energy, positivity, and belief that anyone can turn a passion into success.
