In this 2-hour workshop, you will be led through a process of Jungian Active Imagination as a way to practice getting in touch with your own unconscious projections. A innerdance sound journey will be played, facilitating a process of deep healing and integration.
Innerdance is a sound-led process that invites the brain and body into a liminal, REM-like state of conscious dreaming. As you surrender to a multi-layered soundscape, natural entrainment and shifts in attention can occur; images, emotions, and memories surface from the unconscious to be witnessed and processed. When the system feels safe enough to soften, long-held stories can discharge, incomplete emotional arcs move toward completion, and the nervous system has an opportunity to reorganise around coherence, rather than fear.
The soundscape mirrors the cyclical nature of life—birth, death, renewal—blending both soothing and stimulating rhythms. This supports co-activation of sympathetic and parasympathetic responses, cultivating autonomic flexibility: the capacity to remain in trust and surrender while engaging with what previously felt unknown or frightening.
