Celebrating the 16 artists awarded Fellowships and the 40th anniversary of the program!

Celebrate the Arkansas creatives making a difference statewide and be part of the 40th year anniversary of the Individual Artist Fellowship program! The Arkansas Arts Council will recognize 16 creatives in six different categories during a special celebration 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, at Mosaic Templars Cultural Center. These creatives earned the state's top award for individual creatives in 2025.

The event is free and will include catered food, artist showcases, live music, poetry, dance and more. Find artist showcases and exhibits! Events happen simultaneously.

REGISTRATION IS NOT REQUIRED, BUT HELPS STAFF PLAN.

Awardees for 2025 are:

Performing Arts: Dance Choreography

  • Amy Bramlett Turner, of Hot Springs.

Literary Arts: Poetry

  • Elizabeth Muscari, of Fayetteville.
  • Tori Sharpe, of Little Rock.
  • Geoffrey Brock, of Fayetteville.

Contemporary Craft: Wood Component

  • Andrew Blackwell, of Fayetteville.
  • Andrew Myers, of Bryant.
  • Sandra Sell, of Little Rock.

Visual Arts: Public Art

  • Joel Boyd, of Little Rock.
  • Gina Rose Gallina, of Fayetteville.
  • Jose Hernandez, of North Little Rock.

Community Engagement

  • Chuck Davis, of Rogers.
  • Tram Colwin, of Siloam Springs.
  • Kholoud Sawaf, of Fayetteville.

Multisensory Works

  • Jean Schmitt, of Fayetteville.
  • Dazzmin Murry, aka “King Honey,” of Little Rock.
  • Serena Caffrey, of Fayetteville.

The Individual Artist Fellowship program was started in 1986 and had been a unique program that supported individual creatives holistically. Awardees were chosen by independent panelists and received $5,000 each to support their artistic practice.
