In praise of the south of France, Barry and Linda Edmonds
Most cruising sailors see the south of France as a stopping off location on the way to more exotic destinations in the Mediterranean, but with so many renowned locations to visit nearby this area is worth exploring in much greater depth. It has outstanding marinas, reasonable pricing, stunning scenery, beautiful islands and anchorages and terrific transport infrastructure. Corsica, Elba and the west coast of Italy are close and add additional zest to exploring this whole region. Having spent seven years doing so, Barry and Linda would like others to share their affection.
