IN-PERSON DrawSATURDAY (hybrid) with aerialist model SAFIRE! Live @ Blighty
The experience
Come along and enjoy a friendly debut in-person life drawing session, which will be also broadcasted live for our online artists too, from our home venue @Blighty. With artist Anna Niman hybrid hosting/ lighting of London Art Drawing hosting, with the charismatic model, Safire and perhaps her shadow, Scallywag. Safire is an arealist and dancer, so fantastic for anatomical shapes and study. If you haven't yet had the pleasure or have in the past and returning, you can enjoy a unique very down to earth vibe with at times, four legged friends in tow, (you will see why I say this).
Enjoy a welcoming and informal vibe, with inspiring sounds to lift you by DJ SpAnna...track suggestions welcome if you catch me early in the curation.
Reference sets from the model and tip donations to the model, will be made available following the session to those interested.
Anna believes art should be fun, open and accessible to all. Since 2013, she has organized weekly London Art Drawing sessions at different locations in North London and online. You will see below that Anna often works with this model, as Safire features in both of her paintings below.
The artist
Anna Niman is a multidisciplinary artist from North London whose work traverses painting, photography, light-based installations and performance.
Anna studied fine art at Middlesex University and Byam Shaw School of Art. She has taught art, photography, and time-based media at schools and colleges. She taught dance at, and assisted the founder of, Hilde Holger’s School of Central European Expressionist Contemporary Dance. She was a member of the London Biennale, founded by David Medalla.
Her work has featured in venues such as Somerset House, the Royal Festival Hall, Oxo Bargehouse, the Bourges film festival in France, and Berlin.

Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event. An exception will be made for those unable to attend due to a positive COVID-19 test and isolation and can be refunded up to the event itself.
