His new book Enshittification: Why Everything Suddenly Got Worse and What to do About it sets out to show how we can reclaim the internet. He will be in conversation with Carole Cadwalladr the award-winning investigative journalist who uncovered the Cambridge Analytica scandal that shifted the world’s understanding of Silicon Valley and most recently co-founded the new digital title the Nerve (thenerve.news)

Cory Doctorow is a Canadian, British, American blogger, journalist and activist. He is the author of over 30 books. He lives in Burbank, California.


Carole Cadwalladr is an investigative journalist who worked for two decades as a feature writer at the Guardian & Observer. For her reporting on the Facebook-Cambridge Analytica scandal she was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize.
